During the earthquake emergency, approximately 63 power circuits were affected, causing service interruptions for more than 50% of users in Cali, Yumbo and Puerto Tejada. Local authorities reported that their teams worked from the first moment of the emergency to restore electricity.

Teams from EMCALI, the city's public services company, worked on response and recovery efforts in the affected areas, using machinery and specialised personnel. The company reported that it coordinated response operations in the areas impacted by the earthquake.
