President Abelardo De La Espriella presented on Tuesday a document titled "Book of Truth" that documents findings on irregularities in the previous administration. The event was attended by prosecutor Luz Adriana Camargo, comptroller Gregorio Eljach and other heads of oversight bodies.
Among the main findings was a parallel payroll of 900,000 contracts, according to what was revealed in the presentation. The document also contains five additional accusations of corruption against the Petro administration, although the specific details of these revelations were not detailed in the presentation.
The embezzlement at the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD) was among the cases investigated, according to government records. The case had occurred in 2024 under the previous administration.
