Yemeni military sources reported on Monday that the Houthi militia launched five ballistic missiles from the city of Ibb and the Al-Hoban area, east of Taiz, against Al-Mokha and the Bab al-Mandab strait.

A Yemeni military official told Sky News Arabia that the Houthis also attacked the Bab al-Mandab area with two additional ballistic missiles.

Local authorities in Marib said the Houthis attacked residential neighbourhoods with four ballistic missiles and four drones, causing casualties and material damage to homes, vehicles and civilian property.

Local authorities in Marib also reported that Yemeni forces on the western coast responded with artillery and national resistance rocket launchers against militia positions, they said, in retaliation for ongoing attacks.
