The separation of Luck Ra and La Joaqui, confirmed nearly three weeks ago, continues to generate repercussions. While La Joaqui chose not to continue addressing the issue, the singer has been the target of criticism and aggressive comments, including rumours of infidelity with Tuli Acosta and accusations of having made the decision to separate.
During a concert at the Snow Festival in Bariloche, Luck Ra broke down on stage when referring to comments about his physical appearance. With his voice breaking, the singer said: "It's not that it hurts me because I already know who I am, but there's something I'd like to clarify, which is the only thing that could really get to me. A lot has been said about me, about my appearance, about my figure".
Luck Ra clarified that he could modify his appearance if he wished, but prefers to keep it as it is. "If I wanted to, I could operate on this Shrek donkey face of mine, the Shrek donkey teeth, I have a broken tooth that I don't even want to fix," the artist expressed, emphasising that each characteristic is part of his identity.
The singer directed his message especially at the children present at the festival, highlighting the impact that aggressive comments can have during childhood. "Really, during childhood you can end up suffering from that. Every child here, I need you to learn to love yourself just as you are," he said.
Luck Ra closed his reflection by reclaiming the features of his appearance that were the object of criticism: "I'm going to keep going around with my Shrek donkey face and with my teeth… and I want every imperfection that you feel you have, it's actually your personal brand".
