Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez were married in a private ceremony held in the sitting room of their home in Cascais, Portugal. Following the ceremony, the couple and their five children attended mass.

Rodríguez announced her engagement to Ronaldo through an Instagram post in which she displayed a ring with an oval-cut diamond. The ring's weight is estimated at between 35 and 37 carats.

The couple has raised two daughters together: Alana Martina, born in late autumn 2017, and Bella Esmeralda, born in 2022. Ronaldo was already the father of three children from previous relationships: Cristiano Jr. and twins Eva María and Mateo.

Rodríguez described to Vogue her preference for an intimate ceremony rather than a large-scale event. "When I was little, I dreamed of the biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds. And now I say: 'no'. I want something intimate, with my partner and our children, at home," she said.
