A vast operation involving the participation of various security bodies resulted in the detention of 78 people suspected of involvement in trafficking of migrants, weapons and drugs destined for Europe and also Algeria, according to information provided by the French National Police on Sunday, 15 August.
The operation was carried out from Marseille, where the trafficking network was based and supplied both regions with drugs and weapons.
