Konami has released Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, a remastered collection of three titles from the stealth espionage series. The collection is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The series, developed by Kojima Productions, centers on themes of proxy warfare and mercenary forces. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, released in 2008, explores how combatants are recruited to fight conflicts in which they have no political or ideological stake, while traders profit from the resulting war economy.
The remastered titles bring the original games to current gaming platforms with updated graphics and performance.
