Police responded to a shooting at the SoulBaila nightclub in Hartford shortly after 1:40 am on Sunday. Officers found a crowd of approximately 100 people and an unconscious person at the scene, according to local station WTNH.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident and had not yet been identified. Four other wounded people were taken for medical attention: a man around 30 years old was in critical but stable condition, while two men aged approximately 20 and 30 and an adult woman were in stable condition.

Police indicated that a single weapon was used in the shooting. The Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions of the Hartford Police Department were continuing to investigate the case.

The incident is part of a series of armed attacks over the weekend that left dozens wounded in Chicago, Virginia and Kentucky. Just hours earlier, a shooting in Lexington, Kentucky, on Saturday night, caused one death and four wounded.
