Al-Ahly Tripoli announced on Tuesday the official signing of Burundian international winger Jean Claude Giremokushesha, who arrives from Sudanese side Al-Hilal. The move is part of the club's efforts to strengthen its squad ahead of the coming season.

Giremokushesha began his career at Burundian side Young Boys before moving to Al-Hilal in September 2023. He made 27 appearances for the Sudanese side, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists.

Simultaneously, the Libyan champions announced the signing of Libyan goalkeeper Moaz Al-Lafi on a free transfer following his departure from Al-Itihad. The 26-year-old keeper has 13 international caps and has previously played for Al-Madina and Al-Itihad.

The Libyan club continues to strengthen its squad after activating the purchase option for Egyptian forward Mustafa Shukshuk from Egypt's Ahly once his loan spell ended. Additionally, it signed South African defender Fakhri Lakay from Egypt's Ceramica Cleopatra.

Al-Ahly Tripoli also brought in Libyan defender Mohamed Halil from Al-Akhdhar, consolidating the changes to its line-up ahead of the start of the new season.
