The HoverAir Versa, a small stabilised camera with propeller wings that couple together to transform it into a drone, has stopped accepting orders in the United States three days after its debut on Indiegogo. The FCC's drone ban apparently affected the product.
HoverAir informed backers that it will only send the camera to US territory, not the component that converts it into a drone, due to "some pending logistical adjustments to the Flight Kit". However, that explanation about "logistics" could be a euphemism for a federal regulatory ban.
The FCC database no longer contains an entry for the device, according to industry reports.
