Rida Shahata, a former Al-Ahly star, said that Ahmed Sayed Zizo represents an important addition to the red team, noting his ability to play in more than one position. However, he warned that the player will face considerable pressure in the coming period.
Speaking to On Sport channel, Shahata said: "Zizo is an important player, and you can use him in more than one place at Al-Ahly, but he is one of those who will be under very great pressure". He added that supporters have not seen the performance they expected, so "you have carried over the tension from one season to another, because you did not achieve what they expected, so they are hoping for the next season".
Shahata noted that Zizo is one of the players with a good mentality, but "it is possible that football has not been on his side in the right way", comparing the situation with what the team went through before recovering at the end of the previous season.
