Sky Sports is ending its live coverage of the Baller League, the celebrity six-a-side competition backed by influencer KSI, actor Idris Elba and former players including Ian Wright and Alan Shearer. The broadcaster has decided not to renew its contract for the next season.

KSI's Prime FC won the most recent Baller League final at a sold-out O2 Arena, an event that was broadcast live on Sky. The tournament's fourth season will not receive live coverage from the broadcaster next season.

Sources said Sky was satisfied with audience numbers and social media engagement levels, but that the partnership had come to a natural end.
