Dua Lipa demonstrated that summer layers can be as effective as their winter counterparts. In her latest Instagram post, the artist of "Training Season" posed in a five-piece outfit that, despite incorporating leather, lace and denim, proved appropriate for the heat.
As a base layer, Lipa wore a thin white ribbed knit t-shirt over a contrasting black bra, paired with denim shorts. On top of this classic base, she added a semi-transparent, loose-fitting blouse with floral lace details, adding a printed accent to the solid-coloured pieces. The lightweight long sleeve by Ann Demeulemeester was gathered at the wrists with delicate ruffles and left open due to the heat. Finally, the singer added a bold, rock-star-worthy edge with a black leather vest that almost blended with the buttoned shirt underneath. This was also left open.
As for jewellery, Lipa opted for minimalism, wearing only a pair of diamond hoop earrings, her engagement ring and her wedding band. For shoes and accessories, she chose a black Céline belt with a Western-inspired design and silver hardware, and her usual black knee-high boots. She slicked her hair back and captured a mirror selfie with her metallic nails polka-dotted.
In another photo from the post, Lipa showed off her clay-covered manicure while showing off a new pottery hobby. Wearing a voluminous sunflower necklace and a white ribbed knit t-shirt, the star was working at the wheel, perfecting her technique and showing off a small plate she had created.
