Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar faces a high likelihood of missing the Dutch Grand Prix after injuring his wrist while training in the gym ahead of the race, according to reports from the Dutch press. The injury affects an area considered critical for a driver's performance.
Red Bull is evaluating options to replace Hadjar should he be ruled out. Liam Lawson emerges as the most likely option to take the RB22, according to reports from De Telegraaf. Lawson was moved from the main car just over a year ago to the sister team following two problematic Grands Prix in Australia and China in early 2025.
Yuki Tsunoda could also be considered in Red Bull's plans. De Telegraaf noted that the Japanese driver would be the right choice to drive the Racing Bulls alongside Arvid Lindblad if a bigger shuffle were needed. Tsunoda was another key player in the 2025 changes that involved Lawson.
Hadjar has delivered solid performances in 2026 alongside Max Verstappen and scored a podium in Monaco, though he later lost it after a Gasly protest that was upheld five days after the race. Lawson has accumulated 43 points this season compared to Tsunoda's 23.
