A human rights coordinator for Venezuela's Bar Association said he was harassed and authorities attempted to detain him while he was filing a complaint at a courthouse.
Caracas.- Víctor Velasco, coordinator of the Human Rights Commission of the Bar Association of Venezuela and Zulia, reported on Friday, August 21, that he was a victim of harassment and attempted detention by state security forces.
The incident occurred in the afternoon when Velasco attempted to file a complaint at the Palace of Justice, according to information provided by the professional organisation.
