Naïka sings in English, French and Haitian Creole and has lived in multiple countries before settling in Miami. The artist defines her style as world pop, though Caribbean roots predominate throughout the 13 songs that make up her album "Eclesia", creating what she has identified in interviews as island pop.
According to Naïka, the term "eclesia" comes from ancient Greece and referred to a gathering of people, which is what she aims to achieve with her music. The album, which runs 36 minutes, explores personal and universal experiences, including themes about self-love, failed and successful relationships, identity and social issues.
The album's sounds evoke a Caribbean atmosphere, making it especially suited for listening on repeat during the summer. Songs like "Bloom" and "F.I.S.H." present the summery sounds characteristic of the artist, whilst "Soleil", a bolero in French, offers emotional contrast.
