California-based singer and producer Remi Wolf has announced that she will release her new album Mud on October 9 through Island Records. According to Wolf, before recording the album "I literally felt like I was covered in shit, and now, at the end of the album process, I feel so clean and clear".
Wolf returned last month with the single "Twiggy", her first release in two years since her previous album, Big Ideas. The singer had debuted the song the previous weekend during a surprise appearance at Hayley Williams' performance at the Newport Folk Festival. "I wrote 'Twiggy' about people I've been with who lack both an ass and emotional availability," Wolf said about the single.
The Mud tracklist includes: "Bottle", "Champagne", "Twiggy", "Burn Me Blue", "Jamie", "Covered In Mud", "Moon So High", "I Won't Cry", "Wine Drunk", "Guess" and "Yellow Rose".
