Gambian forward Abu Bakr Sidi Keinthe, winger for Al-Ahly of Jeddah, has advanced to the final stages of his rehabilitation at the club's clinic, reported Saudi Arabian sports newspaper Al-Riyadia.

According to the report, Keinthe will return to training in approximately two weeks after completing his final phase of physiotherapy treatment, which he is undergoing daily under the supervision of the club's medical staff.

Al-Ahly's coaching staff, led by Dutch manager Marino Pusic, is awaiting the forward's return to add him to the line-up in upcoming matches.

Keinthe suffered a strain in his anterior muscle during the European training camp before the start of the current season and has not played any official matches since his transfer last summer. Al-Ahly's administration announced his signing in July from Norway's Tromsø on a five-year contract.
