At least six people have died in Indiana as days of storms and flooding swept across the state, with flood waters peaking in the White River in Indianapolis, officials said. Rains were expected to ease in the state capital region and other parts of the state on Sunday.

Among those killed since the storms began on August 11 were a four-year-old boy, two men and three women, state homeland security department spokesperson Liz Woods said.
