Best Buy will offer a significant discount on its gift cards on Saturday, August 22, for one day only. In celebration of the store's 60th anniversary, customers will be able to buy $100 gift cards for $60, the company announced. The offer will be available while supplies last at each local store, so customers are advised to arrive near opening time to ensure availability.
There are some limitations on the use of gift cards. They cannot be used to purchase other gift cards, such as iTunes or Google Play credits, nor can they be used to purchase prepaid debit cards or open-loop cards. However, they can be combined with other Best Buy discounts or promotions, and refunds or cancellations will be credited back to the gift card.
Best Buy is promoting additional products as part of its anniversary sale. The iPad Air M4 was reduced to $649, the lowest price since they increased in price this summer, while AirPods Max 2 are being offered at $429, $120 less than their usual price. There are also various discounts on Windows and macOS laptops, including the HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 at $749.99, a reduction of $450 from the regular price.
