The Central Bank of Venezuela updated the maximum limits on bank fees and commissions through a publication in the Official Gazette on 31 July 2026. The new provisions came into force immediately.

The changes represent an increase in the costs of everyday financial services. The new fees affect both individuals and businesses.

The measure raises the economic burden associated with access to basic banking services in the country.
