Alejandro Grimaldo has made a good impression at Atlético Madrid since his arrival as left-back. The Spanish international has won over the rojiblanco fans in just a few weeks as a new red-and-white player, according to sources close to the club.
Although he has had little playing time on the pitch so far, the left-back's characteristics and quality are well known following his time at clubs such as Benfica and Bayer Leverkusen. According to club data, the player's personality has impressed supporters, who highlighted his knowledge of the songs and emblematic phrases of the Metropolitano fans, including references such as "the Champions League is my obsession" and phrases attributed to legendary coach Luis Aragonés.
During his official presentation, Grimaldo expressed his ambition by stating that he wants to "win titles and be the best left-back in LaLiga" and that his maximum objective is to win "a Champions League with Atlético".
