Rumours circulating on social media suggested a potential collaboration between designer Jonathan Anderson, current creative director of Dior, and Zara, the leading fashion chain of the Inditex group. According to Instagram account Deux Moi, citing an anonymous source, the partnership would have been conducted through JW Anderson, the British designer's own brand.

Had it come to fruition, the collaboration would have meant the end of the agreement that JW Anderson has maintained with Uniqlo since 2017, according to the rumours circulating. The possible partnership would have aligned with previous initiatives by the firm with Converse, APC and Uniqlo, as well as with recent activations by Zara alongside Bad Bunny and the signing of John Galliano as a creative collaborator.

JW Anderson published a brief statement on Instagram denying the rumours. "The rumours suggesting that JW Anderson and Zara are working on a collaboration are false," the firm stated. Jonathan Anderson shared the denial on his own personal Instagram account.
