A 58-year-old Venezuelan journalist was released after posting a $5,000 bond following his detention by federal agents in Miami Beach.

Wilmer Roberto Solano Dávila, a 58-year-old Venezuelan journalist, was released after posting a $5,000 bond. Solano Dávila had been detained on 26 July by federal agents during a traffic stop in Miami Beach, Florida.

The journalist left the detention centre on the evening of Friday 14 August, according to reporting by El Pitazo.
