IKEA shared a video on its Instagram account on Tuesday showing what appears to be a piece of furniture shaped like a joystick and a cushion bearing Xbox's green logo. The Swedish company has not announced official products or prices to date.

The collaboration between Microsoft and the furniture company comes as Xbox seeks to introduce new products at Gamescom next week. Xbox will make announcements split across two broadcasts on 26 and 27 August, dates when greater details about the partnership with IKEA are expected to be revealed.

This agreement represents Xbox's second attempt to venture into home items. Five years ago, the division launched a branded mini refrigerator, an initiative that set a precedent in the segment of accessories and consumer products related to video games.
