Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez confirmed that they were married in a private ceremony held in the sitting room of their residence in Cascais, Portugal. After a decade of relationship and five children together, the couple decided to seal their union in a family event without major media attention.

Details of the wedding and the first official images were shared exclusively with Vogue magazine. According to statements gathered by the publication, the couple chose the everyday space of their home for the exchange of vows. Rodríguez explained that the main intention was to create a meaningful memory for their children in the home where they spend their daily lives, prioritising privacy over large-scale events.

The Portuguese footballer reaffirmed the strength of the relationship they have built since 2016 and noted that they do not rule out holding a broader celebration in the future with close friends and family. Following the ceremony at their residence, the couple travelled to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima to receive a private blessing in a closed space.

Italian fashion house Gucci, under the artistic direction of Demna, was responsible for the wedding attire of the couple. Rodríguez wore a white ensemble consisting of a silk shirt and a high-waisted pencil skirt, complemented with jewellery from Chopard. Ronaldo opted for a bespoke ensemble in light beige tones with a white shirt and personalised loafers. Photographer Juergen Teller was responsible for the official images from the session.

In the same interview with Vogue, the 41-year-old striker addressed the outcome of his sporting career in Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo indicated that the current season could be the last of his professional career and plans to focus his time on personal projects, travel and sports such as padel.
