The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology forecast a significant increase in rainfall for the weekend as Tropical Wave No. 40 passes over Venezuela.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) forecast an increase in rainfall during the weekend of 22 and 23 August as Tropical Wave No. 40 passes over Venezuela. According to the agency, rain will be more frequent and intense in several states.

Inameh indicated that the states of Bolívar, Amazonas, Anzoátegui, Guárico, Aragua and eastern Apure will be the areas most affected by the meteorological phenomenon during the weekend.
